Call of Duty next edition for 2013 confirmed
Activision reveales the new entry of Call of Duty will be out in 2013. It was also stated that this edition will not be as successful as Call of Duty Black Ops II.
Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg said”The Call of Duty franchise continues to set the bar for innovation and we expect the new Call of Duty game in development for 2013 to raise that bar even higher,” .
This installment of Call of Duty will be released during the end of this year (October- December) . Activision CFO Dennis Durkin stated ”There is increased volatility this year due to the ongoing console transition, which makes predicting the future more challenging than during normal years in the cycle. For Call of Duty, consistent with our past practices, we are planning for the mainline release in Q4 to be down versus 2012,”Rumors are that the name of this edition can be Modern Warfare 4.
The news is in the air that Xbox720 and PS4 are planned to launch in the same days when this new edition will come out . So it is believed that the Next-Generation Call of Duty are under devlopment.
